August 2012: Gina Conroy

On Saturday, August 4, Gina Conroy joins us at the Bedford Library for a discussion on "Out of the Box Marketing: How Building Relationships Can Lead to More Sales."

With brick and mortar book stores going the way of extinction and epublishers on the rise, writers have exciting options in publishing. Whether authors are assisted by a marketing team, or you’re going the DIY route, we all face the same problem. How to get our book noticed among the masses? Gina Conroy will show how the 3 Rs of relationships building can not only help build your platform, but can lead to more sales.

Gina Conroy is a creative marketing and social media enthusiast who loves helping authors plan launch parties and spice up their promotion. Her first novella, Buried Deception, in Cherry Blossom Capers, released from Barbour Publishing in January 2012 and she's recently contracted her first full length mystery. As founder of Writer...Interrupted, she loves to build relationships with writers and readers. When she isn’t writing, teaching, or driving kids around, you can find her on Facebook and Twitter, or tearing it up on the ballroom dance floor.

Join us at our new location and time for our next meeting on Saturday, August 4.  This is the first Saturday of the month instead of our usual second Saturday.   We will meet at the Bedford Library, 2424 Forest Ridge Drive, Bedford, Texas. From 183/121 east or west bound, take the Central Drive/Forest Ridge Drive exit. Go north on Forest Ridge Drive. The Library is on the right hand side of the street just past Bedford Road.

The meeting begins at 10:30am, but come early for set-up, visiting and fellowship. Doors open at 10:00am.
