June 2012: Two Hour Workshop with Margaret Daley

Current ACFW President and multi-published author Margaret Daley will teach two different one-hour workshops on Saturday, June 9, beginning at 11:00am.

First Hour:

Start with a Bang!

Learn to hook the readers and editors and pull them into your story. Hands on examples of what works and doesn't work and why.

Second Hour:

Tips for Planning a Career

How to have a career plan and why. Professional tips from an author with over thirty years experience in the business.

 Margaret Daley is an award winning, multi-published author in the romance genre. One of her romantic suspense books, Hearts on the Line, won the ACFW Carol Award (formerly Book Of The Year). She currently writes inspirational romance and romantic suspense books for Love Inspired, romantic suspense for Abingdon Press, and historical romance for Summerside Press. DFW Ready Writers will meet on Saturday, June 9 at 11:00am for lunch, fellowship, and teaching time with Margaret Daley. We meet at La Hacienda Ranch Restaurant on Highway 121 in Colleyville. DFW Ready Writers is the local chapter of American Christian Fiction Writers and meets the second Saturday of each month. Visitors welcome!
